My Art....inspired by Mexico!

One of my favorite places to visit is definitely south of the border in Mexico! Here are some of my newest artwork inspired by the longing to visit the sea again. Wishing I was there....

Nancy: Love the new background, and the pictures of Mexico. Is the bear hard to knit? I'm thinking of stopping by Skeins on Main to get the pattern.

Hi Nancy,
No, the bear pattern is very easy. The hardest part is sewing the side seams and the face. I am starting another one just because it IS so easy. I would give them a call to see if you can pick up a pattern for sure earlier. The next time we meet is March 29th at Noon. The whole bear can be garter stitch if you choose. You can just walk in on that Sunday to begin a bear, and you will probably get more than half done on that day! Just bring size 7 needles and scrap yarn....talk soon. ~Nan

Nancy, I LOVE your Frida creations... I am pretty much obsessed with this woman- so I was so excited to stumble across your blog! I am wondering- is the top Frida piece of art that you made (with her wearing the crown) for sale? IF so, I would LOVE to see if I can either purchase this from you, or if you'd be interested in doing a trade you may go over and have a lookie in my etsy shop (www.yiyah.etsy.com)
Peace & Love
