Spending most of this past weekend alone, I was able to just knit away totally undisturbed.....total bliss! My hubby was out of town fishing for walleye with my son, so I was thrilled to catch up on all those programs that were slowly filling the DVR. I made these two felted clutch bags while watching the Lifetime channel on Friday and Saturday. They are first hand knitted with 100% wool yarn, then machine washed in extremely hot water. I just love to see the end result, when you pull them out of the washer. They go from huge, to completely dense. It is always a surprise! I also knitted two eye glass holders, a knitted "treasure bowl," and started another. This weekend is my slumber party at our local yarn shop. I need to finish a teddy bear, and line two totes. Looking forward to meeting new people and discovering new patterns!
May every stitch you knit bring you a little closer
to that calm, clear space in the center of your soul.

You are so talented in so many ways!! So glad I found your blog and that you found mine!! I knit but I have never felted anything. Do you have a pattern you would be willing to share for a small project for me to try out? I would love to try.

Nancy: You never fail to amaze with all your talents. I'm trying to get my work areas organized so I can actually use them. LOL I am still hooked, or should I say needled on the dishcloths, so glad you posted about them. Have fun at your slumber party.
Super fantastic!
Nancy I tried felting a couple of years ago. I really enjoyed it. I guess I will have to get my needles out and go to it again! Not enough hours in a day usually.
I do love the clutches you created simply mavelous daling!
I have often chuckled at how we choose the same background. I truly am not stalking you! I just see something I like and stick it on there. I like change and change my background often.
Have a magical day:)
Thanks everyone for your sweet comments concerning my clutch bags. I am loving making them, and have been contemplating the idea of selling them. Bought yarn for another black one, and a red one today. If anyone is interested, please email me for details. I can make them in just about any color.
I knit just about every day, whenever I am "stuck" somewhere waiting. I sent a felted eyeglass holder to my first person on the Random Acts of Kindness post, but not saying who.....black with a hot pink edge, and white french knots on the black areas. So many projects, and not enough time. ~Nan
