Altered Valentines

Did you know that valentine greeting cards date back to the late 1800's? Here are my contribution for today's special "one-of-a-kind" dimensional valentine greeting card. During the One World-One Heart event, I found this gorgeous web-site called Outsider-Artists. You can easily order downloadable sheets of these amazing winged sweethearts by visiting one talented gal, Becky Loyall from Whymsical Musings.

Happy Valentine's Day!

These are stunning, - where did you get the hearts?

Hi Astrid...nice to meet you. I used red valentine doilies from the local Salvation Army here in town. You could possibly find them at a cake decorating store. The satin hearts were from my old stash, and might be able to get at a fabric or craft store. I know, I am all out of them too! I will keep my eyes open on a source for you as I would like more myself. Thanks for dropping by. Nan
