Things I Love About Winter
As the snow fell outside my window this afternoon, I spotted these precious doves huddled together on a branch which holds four bird feeders in our back yard. The snow has not stopped since 10:00 o'clock this morning. Right now, we are experiencing 17 degrees, but actually feels more like 3 degrees. I started my art journal today for Terri, and almost finished the background. I am still gathering images, and color ideas. I guess, it's a perfect opportunity to create some art! Winter in Michigan this year has been brutal. I just want to see some sunshine and a little less snowflakes.

Beautiful photos of the doves huddling on the branch. I'm glad you are able to find things that you love about winter. Stay positive & Stay warm. Looking forward to seeing what you doing for my art journal.
Well Nancy you are ahead of me. I have only begun to play with the "snow-globes". It is hard here though with the 9 below temps and now another 8 inches of snow. I think year cabin fever is going to hit hard. Glad you were able to make the best of the situation! Love the birds. We got to watch the squirrels dig tunnels on the snow and romp about here.
Wonderful photos of those little Doves. It sure sounds cold where you are. I have a friend who has a holiday home on Lake Michigan, she usually goes every Summer to visit her husbands family and stay at her holiday home so she does not experience your cold Winters. Keep Warm xx
Love the top dove picture. What a great capture. Doves are so much fun, especially in the summer when they wake you up first thing in the morning with their wonderful song.
