Sock Knitting

Ok, I am really getting tired of all this snow!  My daughter sent me photos from up north and it looks like she lives in an igloo.  Luckily, I can keep myself relatively busy.  Between working on my digital photo album entitled "Day to Day," and my weekly art journal, I squeeze in some knitting at the end of the day.  I have to admit, knitting socks is clearly my addiction. I just love how they feel on your feet!

I'm in love with those socks! Is it self striping yarn?

Yes, which is amazing. The second one is the tricky part. You have to find the exact sequence of color to begin. I love this yarn!

Hi. I want to learn how to knit socks. I love your socks. I'm not necessarily new to knitting, but I've mostly crocheted in my life.
(I just turned 62) I'm beginning to get more into knitting. :-) The reason I'm here is that I saw you had crocheted some May Jane baby booties. Is there any way I can get the pattern so I can make some for my newest granddaughter? ...this is grandbaby #1. LOL

Thanks!! Carol Edge

Dear Carol, The Mary Jane booties are knitted. I do not have a pattern because I just "invented" the design myself as I as knitting along. Perhaps if you check Etsy or Ravelry, a design similar might pop up. So sorry.
