Do I start ripping it out after more than 30 hours of work? Or do I make another one with the an identical knitting issue. Well, I decided to just keep the mistake again so they match.
I guess, no one would even know but me, but sometimes my desire for absolute perfection gets the best of my unspoken mind. The socks fit just fine, and they do have a kind of clever artistic flair. I will find the beauty in them no matter what. That's what knitters do.

They are the best socks ever!!! Wish I could knit socks. Maybe one day I will teach myself.
I visited earlier and i just didn't know what to say...I was so stuck on a mistake...really ? where?...I am sure I would never be able to find it.
But then that is how we are we want out things to be... just so. I think you made the best of it. And those socks rock. May your next pair be ...just so.
Hugs,
Terri

They're beautiful!!! I agree with Terri . . . If you think that you made a knitting error, you should see my lowly garments!!! I'm still in the learning stage - hats and scarves!!! Hugs, Terri xoxox
Thanks for the encouragement. I was totally bummed when I discovered the mistake. It is always a challenge when you do the heel decreases. Some of my stitches are going right instead of left....wow! I started a new pair to mend my ways. Hopefully, there will be better results. Hugs to all, Nan
Error? What error? Life is too short to strive for perfection -- let's just strive for happiness!
